Suburgatory

Yay yay yay, lets write a new post instead of sewing my stuff for Connichi xDDD

On Thursday August the 16th, i went with Ena, her Girlfriend & Kathy to the Dom. They say the Dom is the biggest folk festival in northern Germany. Since i live in Hamburg, its actually not a big thing to me, but since Ena moved to Hamburg & never went to the Dom i thougt, why not take walk and see how much it changed after my last visit (more than a year!)

A new attraction this year, called "Transformers"

It was a nice Evening and didnt thought i would still enjoy a folk festival that much (the last time i really really enjoyed the Dom was when i was still a child).

The next Day, Friday 17th i went to my Boyfriend, so that we could start our trip on the next day early in the Morning. It was Gamescom time! I'm not pretty sure, but the Page says, that the Gamescom is the worldwide biggest Fair & Event Highlight for interactive games & entertainment.
So we (my Boyfriend, his Father & me) started your Saturday early in the morning ( i think it was around 6 or 7am) and we arrived in Cologne and also at the Gamescom at 10am. We met some friends of my Boyfriend & totally enjoyed the day :D

I didnt took much pictures, just some Handypics ( i tried my Panorama Modus), but my Boyfriend Chris took some if he found the time.

2nd one, it shows how big such halls are

Around 6pm we were already so dead, that we decided to walk around in Cologne, walked though the shopping Passage and waited for the call to go to our Appartement we rent only for a night.

Arriving at the Appartement i actually feel how leached out i really was, so i only just took a showe, changed in comfortable clothes and stayed lazy in my Bed for the night (instead of the boys, they wanted to checked out the "Nightlife" of Cologne, haha)

Our view out of the Appartement

Next morning, around 8am we drove back to Hamburg, with a very empty highway, which made the day really calmly and left a good weekend feeling.
I need to say that the Gamescom is really cool & if you don't really want to try a game out & just walk around, one day is completely enough. IF you wanted to play a game, you should've take your time, 'cause all the waiting periods for the waiting queue were enormous! There actually were many games i wanted to try out, but the waiting periods took always around 3-4hours (the longest i saw, was at the Capcom Corner with around 7hours of waiting!)
It was a nice experience and maybe i will visit it again :3

Oh god, time went so fast, i still have things to tell, last weekend was a Victorian Picnic here in Hamburg and after next weekend there is already the Connichi (and im still not finish with everything AT ALL D:).
But lucky me, i got 2 weeks "vacation"after the connichi, so i guess i'll take the time to catch up on everything.

Till then...
SEE YOU!
